1. Objectives:
– Category 1: all students in Regulation of Ministry of Education and Training (Circular 05/2017/TT-BGDĐT dated on January 25th, 2017)
For recruitment of Early Childhood Education, candidates are required to take the examination for gifted held by HCMUE and get the score of 6.5 or more.
– Category 2: all highschool graduates (see the list in Appendix 2) that are ranked “Very Good” or over in the academic year 2018-2019, choose right majors or near specialized majors and possess one of the following priorities (see Term 3):
- a) First, second or third prizes in the provincial-level examinations/ contests;
- b) Ranked “Very Good” or “Excellent” in grade 10 and 11.
For Early Childhood Education and Physical Education, candidates are required to take the examination for gifted held by HCMUE and get the score of 6.5 or more.

4.1. Application documents
- Category 1: according to Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Category 2:
+ Registration forms (download file on xettuyen.hcmue.edu.vn);
+ A Valid copy of high school transcripts;
+ A Valid copy of identification card;
+ A valid copy of the application for certification of priority subjects;
4.2. Deadlines and Address to submit application
- Category 1: according to Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Category 2: Candidates submit applications from May 21, 2019 to June 30, 2019 via one of the following ways:
+ Method 1: Undergraduate Studies Office, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. Address: No. 280 An Duong Vuong Street, Ward 4, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, from 13:30 to 17:00 (except Saturday and Sunday);
+ Method 2: by post to the address of Undergraduate Studies Office, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. Address: No. 280 An Duong Vuong Street, Ward 4, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City;
4.3. Application submission process:
Step 1: Register your application for admission at xettuyen.hcmue.edu.vn
Step 2: Prepare the necessary documents (details in section 4.1)
Step 3: Submit application and admission fee directly at the University or by post (details in section 4.2)
Step 4: Track the updated status of application process at xettuyen.hcmue.edu.vn (after 5 working days from the date of receipt)
- Admission fee: 30,000 VND / suggestion.
5.1. Candidates submit applications and purchase fees directly at the University
Step 1: Fill in the candidates' information on the payment paper at Guidance Desk for submission of documents (Undergraduate Studies Office, A.106)
Step 2: Make a purchase at the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) - An Phu Branch - Transaction office on the ground floor A, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education or Nguyen Van Cu Transaction Office - 273 An Duong Vuong, Ward 3, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City.
Step 3: Submit the payment receipt at the Guidance Desk.
5.2. Candidates submit applications and admission fees through the Post Office
Candidates submit applications and admission fees at the district or provincial Post Offices. Application fees and admission fees are set by the Post Office.
- Announcement of Result
Ho Chi Minh City University of Education considers and publishes the results of admission before 17:00 on 18/7/2019. After announcing the results, the applicants will confirm enrollment before July 23, 2019.
