MOA signing ceremony between Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and Victoria Wellington University, New Zealand

On August 31, 2022, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and Victoria Wellington University, New Zealand organized MOA signing ceremony.

Attending the signing ceremony, the representatives of Victoria Wellington University are Prof. Blair McRae, Deputy Vice-Chancellor; Ms. Le Chi Nguyen, Director, South East Asia Engagement; Prof. Rebecca Needham, Director, Strategic Partnerships and Engagement; Prof. Alex Glidden, Associate Director, Partnerships; Prof.Alexander Bukh, Associate Dean (International), Associate Professor in International Relations; Dr. Peter Gu, Head of School of Linguistics and Applied Languages Studies.

From Consulate General of New Zealand in Ho Chi Minh City, HCMUE welcome Mr. Joseph Nelson, Trade Commissioner and New Zealand Consulate General in HCMC and Ms. Banh Pham Ngoc Van, Director of Education New Zealand (ENZ) in Vietnam.

The representatives of HCMUE are Dr. Bui Tran Quynh Ngoc, Vice President; Assoc Prof. Pham Nguyen Thanh Vinh, Acting Head of International Cooperation Office; Mr. Le Phan Quoc, Deputy Head of Undergraduate Studies Office; Mr. Huynh Trung Phong, Director of Center for Student Assistance and Entrepreneurship Development; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Dean of Department of English; Ms. Dinh Tran Hanh Nguyen, Vice Dean of Department of English.

After brief introductions of the two universities, the main session of ceremony is signing of the Memorandum of Agreement on the joint training program in B.A in TESOL between Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and Victoria Wellington University. The agreement is another stepping-stone for both universities to develop future collaborations and accomplish even higher achievements in the academic field.

The two universities give souvenirs to each other to mark a memorable milestone for the cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and Victoria Wellington University.
